Celie was just a little girl who has been threw so much in her life. She was abused, beaten, and hurt, she has been living thru this harsh life for so long that she was putting up with it was because she didn't want her little sister Nettie to go thru what she been thru. She has been living in a house with Mr. yet he beats her for no reason. Sending letters to her sister Nettie knowing she wouldn't be able to recieve them because Mr. kept throwing Celie letter away or never sends them. Then Celie starts to grow this feelings she has never felt for Shug, why? The reason for that is because Shug has been their for Celie on the hard times that she even made a song and named it after her, but then Shug has feelings for Mr. which Celie has been caught surprise and that Mr. had feelings for Shug too. Never the less Shug has broken Celie heart, but grew to understand it deep inside, and that how Celie and Mr. always talk about how much the love Shug. Nettie returns to America seeing her sister Celie again and speechless seeing each other old and their kids all grown up but at the end two sister happy to see each other once again.

What I love about this book is how Celie was strong spirit to have endure all the pain she been thru just for her sister and her kids to be safe. She is a tough woman to go thru so much agony and yet still be strong for herself. Every single part of this story was my favorite but the most part that I love was when Celie was heartbroken, yet she was happy for Mr. and Shug and learn to live the life of a broken heart and moved on in her life showed a lot of courage and a lot of strength to do that. The fact that how Celie and Mr. always talk about how much the love Shug. I would recommend this story to many of my friends because its touching, dramatic, and courage all other stuff you can think of the book has. Its one of the best book I ever reed and I would read it again.

Assignment #4 Broken Dreams

Dear Abby,
        I'm just a girl who goes threw enough problem in my life. I've grown in a harsh childhood with my father and my sister. I've been abused, beaten, and hurt. I don't understand why it has to happen to me. What have I done wrong? Is this happening to me because I did something wrong? I lost both of my children when Mr. got me pregnant and now that I'm older Mr. won't let me send letters to my sister nor my father. I've grown to love someone, love Shrug. She has been their for me when I needed her the most. She dedicated a song to me, and helped me on the rough times when my sister couldn't be their cause she has her family. What should I do? I'm so confused I don't know what to with Shrug nor Mr.. Can you help me Abby please?

Dear Celie: Your not a bad person and you haven't done anything wrong. Their just people who has a sick life who can't even respect themselves. I know the situation your going threw but you can't let that bring you down. Your a strong, caring person and anyone is grateful for having you in their life. Shrug is a nice person and she is helpful when you need her. I say let your feelings speak to you and don't hide your true feelings for her cause something amazing can happen. Mr. should just get out of your life leave him and just start a new life and be independent. Don't let him control your life you have control not him, you can do it I know you can, and your sister love you so much and you know that.

Assignment #3

The topic I'm going to talk about is how Nettie write letters to her older sister Celie, but Nettie hasn't gotten no letters from her. This section I would say is external conflict because Nettie hasn't received any letters from Celie because Mr. has been keeping the letters and not sending it to Nettie. She has to go talk to her pa for help.

In this topics it talks about how Celie finally get to see her own Pa with Shug. She so excited to finally get to see her father is been long since she saw him. I see foreshadowing in this section of the book because it says how Mr. wanted to hit Celie with the bags, but people came over and he acted all friendly, but once they leave he would hit her without people seeing him doing it.

Assignment #2

"He love looking...... I love looking.....". Page 74 in paragraph 15, Celie see Shug and how she so close to her. When Celie was their for Shug when she was sick and didn't get any better. She goes and see Shug work and she never saw her work but finally did. When ever she was working Celie was looking at her hoping she was looking back at her, and Shug did. She told Celie ".... This song I'm bout to sing is call Miss Celie's song." Celie was so happy and speechless cause no one has ever dedicated a song to her and has her name in it. She felt loved in my opinion.
"But  fifteen minutes.... Still out there." Page 102 in paragraph 6, Celie helps Sofia drive a car cause the white lady hasn't come back yet and decided to drive of. Even though Sofia has no experience in driving Celie gives her a few tips and shows her what gear to press while she was trying to drive the car.

Assignment #1

  The characters in this stories are Celie, Nettie, Celie's Momma, Margaret, Albert, Sofia, Shug, Harpo, and Mr.____( it doesn't say the name, but his in this book. He seem's important). It takes place back in the middle eastern time. I may be wrong, but it sounds like it is. The conflict in this book is that Celie is rape and abused by the person Alphonso he has treated her bad, hurted her, and raped her against her will. She scared of him, but she has her sister Nettie who is beautiful and smart and always with her sister, helping her. In this book I suspect that the worse has yet to come to much problems in Celie life. Shug gets sick, Celie's dad in love, Sofia and Harpo arguing, and many other problems. I feel as if this story will lead to a tragic climax especially of what's going on in this book cause Sofia and Harpo will keep on arguing and fighting again, and Shug might get worse cause he isn't getting better from this sickness. I assume that Alphonso will keep hurting her and may never let her live her life.
